Thibault is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Paris office where he supports consumer, industrial, and services companies’ leadership teams to enhance their operational performance. A qualified industrial engineer, Thibault started his career in supply chain consulting boutiques. He then joined a global car manufacturer, where he held various management positions in supply chain and procurement for over a decade.
Transitioning from working on the industry side to strategy consulting was definitely a leap. But this experience taught me to thrive at a pace I could not have even imagined. Nowadays I work with a broad variety of clients and each has their own unique set of challenges. I’m a firm believer in continuous learning and enhancing my own skill set, so I can pass on this rich knowledge and experience.
From automotive, to rail, and satellites, one of Thibault’s key focus areas is cost transformation. His work involves helping clients to build a comprehensive diagnosis of the current state against best-in-class practices and challenges derived from a moving environment. This allows him to engage with teams to design and implement robust performance plans and revisit operating models.
We show business leaders how to make decisions based on data, but also design transformation programs to really involve their people. These offer valuable insights on the ground, but also motivate people to collaborate across functions, and ensure that changes are more likely to stick.
