Bridget Carle is a Senior Vice President on Guy Carpenter’s Public Sector Practice, forging partnerships with public entities and designing and implementing risk transfer solutions to alleviate financial exposures related to extreme weather, agricultural risks, and natural catastrophes. She works across North America at the federal, state/provincial, and municipal level. One of Bridget’s focus areas is helping communities understand their exposures to natural catastrophes and designing community-based solutions to boost resilience.Â
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Bridget was a Vice President on Swiss Re’s public sector team for over a decade. In that time, she managed government and multilateral development bank clients across the Americas. She helped to create and implement dozens of innovative risk transfer solutions, including the world's first pandemic bond and extreme weather coverages for more than 16 Caribbean and Central American countries.Â
Bridget also spent two years as a Senior Program Officer on The Rockefeller Foundation’s Sustainable Food Systems Initiative.
Bridget holds a B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University and an M.S. in Food Policy and Nutrition Science from the Friedman School at Tufts University.
